Golfers will be in heaven with the eponymous Carnoustie Golf Club right outside the hotel door. The 18-hole championship course has hosted a number of British Opens. Two other 18-hole golf courses are on site, including the Burnside Course and the Buddon Links. Carnoustie Golf Hotel guests get preferential tee times on all three courses and caddies can be arranged. Fitness buffs will want to head to the Leisure Club and check out the gym, heated swimming pool, and whirlpool. Wedding coordinators are on-hand to help guests plan weddings, and meeting space is available.
For non-golfing guests, the surrounding area provides plenty of diversions. The hotel can arrange tennis, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and snorkelling outings.
