There are several reasons why a gift card (Spafinder gift card with a card number starting with 4353) may be declined on the PDQ terminal:
1.The PDQ terminal is offline. If this is the case you will need to provide another payment type. You may discuss with the participating location, whether they would agree for you to come back at a later time when the PDQ terminal is back online. You cannot redeem your gift card when the system is offline.
2.The gift card’s magnetic stripe may be damaged and cannot be read through the PDQ terminal. Please contact us on email@example.com or +44 (0) 345 850 0402 so that we can arrange to have a replacement card sent to you.
3.There may be insufficient funds left on the gift card to process the transaction. Please visit www.spafinder.co.uk/balance-check to check your balance. If there is a valid balance available, staff will need to process a split payment transaction, starting with the balance that is available on your gift card followed by payment via cash, debit or credit card for the balance of the total value.
4.Your gift card may have expired. Please check the expiry date printed on the back of the gift card (under the scratch panel).
